Summary
Andrew Bartlett was a member of the Senate for Queensland (1997 - 2008) and served as the leader of the Australian Democrats for a period between 2002 and 2004.
In 2009, Bartlett joined the Australian Greens, standing (unsuccessfully) as a candidate for the House of Representatives in the seat of Brisbane at the 2010 federal election. In 2012, he ran as a Greens candidate for the Lord Mayor of Brisbane.
