Saulwick records in the University of Melbourne Archives
Materials in the Irving Saulwick collection at the University of Melbourne Archives date from the period leading up to establishment of the Age Poll in 1971 until shortly before Saulwick's death in 2012. A broad range of social research for federal, state and local government; education; business; media; and community sectors is represented in the collection. The archival holdings include statistical data, audio visual recordings, research reports, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and other items generated in the course of survey work undertaken for The Age newspaper and other clients in the public and private sectors.
An itemised guide to the collection is available online: Guide to Saulwick Archives.
Arrangements for this collection to be donated to the University of Melbourne Archives were put in place before Irving Saulwick's death. The collection was catalogued by the University's eScholarship Research Centre in 2011-2012; with the transfer to Archives taking place in 2013.
